List Of Golf Courses I’ve Played

I’ve been around a long time. Grew up in Colorado Springs move to the Denver metro area after college. Played a few courses around Colorado. Below is a list by region with some recaps based on personal experience.

Denver Metro

  • Highlands Ranch Golf Club – Right by my house. I’m not a member but play here when I can. Always in top notch condition.
  • South Suburban Golf Course – Main weekly 9 hole course to play. Cheap to walk even if not in the South Suburban area, very good condition. Greens can be hard to put on depending on where the holes are on the green.
  • The Links at Highlands Ranch – Exective course. Usually in good condition. Good variation on holes. I like the back 9 better than the front.
  • Overland Park Golf Course – One of the oldest courses, especially in Denver. Typical Denver course, pretty straight with lots of trees.
  • Kennedy Golf Course – Denver course
  • Evergreen Golf Course – Oh man, this one. Kind of a crazy course to play.
  • Willis Case Golf Course – One of my favorite Denver courses. No driving range tho. Good hole variation
  • Harvard Gulch Golf Course – A little short par three course, great for beginners or those just looking to work on their short game.
  • Deer Creek Golf Club – No longer around but was fun and easy to get on. Maybe thats why its closed.
  • Fossil Trace Golf Club (Golden) – Very cool course, lots of dinasaur fossils around.
  • Legacy Ridge Golf Course (Arvada) – Only played here once but one of my best rounds. Had 7 pars in a row on the front.
  • Lakewood Country Club – Buddy is a member. Hard course that is pretty long. I’m not a big fan, never have I played well there.
  • Arrowhead Golf Club – Very beautiful course in Roxbouroe. Played several times for scramble tournments and regular rounds. I’ve never played there at less than 5-5 1/2 hours. Always slow because of the course and the views I guess.
  • Ravenna Golf Club – Very nice private course. Have to no a member to play. Similar views to Arrowhead. 30 minutes between tee times. Hardly ever have to wait on other groups, at least in my experience
  • Sanctuary Golf Course – got to play once. Very good course that is really hard to get on.
